Making healthy connections

 I recently finished a work contract with a large complex organisation. I really enjoyed working with them and particularly enjoyed building relationships with the people I worked with.

The project was related to culture transformation therefore the focus had to be very much on getting people from all over the organisation actively involved in making decisions, planning and delivering the programme of work.

How lucky are we to have beautiful sunshine in late September?  

The sun gives me such a feeling of warmth and brightness. This isn’t just the physical feeling of it but the wonderful feeling I get inside that makes me feel alive and happy – it lifts my mood! I notice this in other people too, who seem to be perkier with a bit of bounce in their step when the sun is out.

Humanity switch

My mum recently had major surgery, which we don’t yet know the full impact. She went in to hospital 5 weeks before her operation, which finally took place early September. Over this period I’ve seen my mum in a lot of pain and going through many emotions, mainly fear and worry because of the unknown impact of the operation on her mobility.
